FTI Global CEO shares knowledge in Studium Generale with Nusa Mandiri University
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the business environment of organizations and accelerated the digitization process. Now the use of Information Systems is increasingly massive, requiring organizations to also be increasingly aware of the increasing risk of IT in the organization, the article with the use of information systems although it can improve the services of an organization, but also become increasingly vulnerable. Now without comprehensive analysis and evaluation, it will make SI / IT a double-edged sword, not improving services instead it will make services even worse.
Therefore, the Information Systems Study Program at Nusa Mandiri University held a workshop on Saturday, June 18, 2022, with the title Information Systems Audit Stage with COBIT and invited speakers who are experts in the field of Cobit, namely Agus Hermanto, S.Kom, M.MT, ITIL, COBIT, SFC who is also the CEO of Fittech Inova Global at the workshop in order to share knowledge about auditing using Cobit.
In the workshop Agus Hermanto said that human error and system failure are two constructions that are related in many contexts. So that to prevent losses caused by these failures it is necessary to carry out an audit. Audit is very to assess the level of maturity not only of the information system but also the human resources that play a role in the sustainability of the Information System.
At the end of the event Sukmawati Anggraeni as Head of Information Systems Department, Nusa Mandiri University expressed her gratitude because there was not only material delivery but there was also a discussion session, which session became a medium for exchanging experiences for students and lecturers who attended this event, as well as inviting collaboration with Agus Hermanto to be able to work together to develop student competencies in the future in the field of SI Audit. With the end of the workshop, Sukmawati hopes that what has been conveyed by Agus Hermanto as a resource person can be a provision of knowledge for students to enter the world of work.
